RunBeta Biz Ltd, a company registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria with its registered office located at Von Garden Estate, Lugbe, AMAC, FCT, Abuja, Nigeria (“RunBeta”, "we," "us," or "our") provides Services by means of websites, mobile applications, or other products provided through the RunBeta platform ("Platform"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User” or “Client”) and RunBeta governing your access to and use of the RunBeta website, mobile applications and related services. By accessing or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy (together, the “Agreement”). If you do not agree to the Agreement, you must not access or use the Platform.
The Services and use of the Platform are available to Users with legal capacity to contract. The Platform is not to be used by persons who do not have that capacity or Users who have been suspended or disqualified. By registering as a User, you warrant that you are a natural person of 18 years or older, with legal capacity to contract.
RunBeta provides an intermediary Platform that is an online, web- and app-based marketplace that enables connections between Users and independent Service Providers. “User(s)” are individuals and/or businesses seeking to obtain services (“Service(s)”), and “Service Provider(s)” are individuals, freelancers, corporate entities offering to perform those Services for Users. Service Providers operate as independent business owners; Users are clients of Service Providers, not of RunBeta. Each User remains solely responsible for selecting their preferred Service Provider and for undertaking any checks they consider necessary prior to booking any Service.
RunBeta is a technology-based marketplace. RunBeta is not a service provider, employment agency, or recruitment business, and does not act as an employer, partner, or agent of any User or Service Provider. You acknowledge that: RunBeta does not provide or perform any Services and does not supervise or control Service Providers; RunBeta does not set work hours, pricing, or terms of work; RunBeta does not guarantee the quality, safety, suitability, or completion of any Service or the conduct of any Service Provider; RunBeta has no control over the timing, performance, or outcome of any Service and is not responsible for any act, omission, or breach by any Service Provider or User.
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, RunBeta grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform in Nigeria, download and use the RunBeta mobile application, and access content for your personal use. You must not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, scrape, or use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in a manner inconsistent with this Agreement. Any rights not expressly granted are reserved by RunBeta.
To access the Platform you must create an Account and provide accurate, current and complete information including your full name, email address, contact details, National Identification Number, passport photograph and any other information we reasonably require. You must update your Account information if it changes. RunBeta may conduct identity verification and KYC checks. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials and for all activities conducted through your Account. You must notify RunBeta immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access or security breach.
You agree to use the Platform solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and applicable Nigerian laws. You must not use the Platform in any manner that violates any law or third-party right; damages or impairs the Platform; or negatively affects other users. Without limitation, you must not: use the Platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes; provide false or misleading information; harass or abuse others; engage in off-platform payments to bypass the Platform; use bots or automated technology; upload viruses or harmful code; or access any Account or system without authorisation. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your Account and referral to law enforcement. Your use is governed by these Terms, our Privacy Policy and all Platform Policies issued by RunBeta. Violation of any Platform Policy constitutes a material breach and may result in suspension or permanent deactivation of your Account.
You will receive an electronic invoice reflecting the total amount payable, disclosed upon selection of the service. Payment is collected and held in escrow by an authorised third-party payment processor until the service has been fully performed and completion is confirmed by both you and the Service Provider. You may settle the Invoice using payment options supported by RunBeta (e.g. debit card, bank transfer). Cash payments are strictly prohibited. For card or bank transfer, RunBeta (or its payment partner) receives your payment; after completion is confirmed, RunBeta deducts its applicable fees and transfers the balance to the Service Provider. You acknowledge that you will pay approved out-of-pocket expenses and any applicable statutory charges such as VAT. All payments must be made strictly through methods approved by RunBeta. Off-platform payments constitute a breach of the Agreement.
You may cancel an advance booking at any time before the Service is performed. Cancellation may attract cancellation fees. A User will not be charged a cancellation fee where: cancellation is made within 15 minutes of booking; the Service Provider does not show up within 30 minutes (scheduled) or 1 hour (on-demand); the Service Provider cancels; the Service cannot proceed due to a reason attributable to the Service Provider; or RunBeta determines the cancellation is caused by factors outside the User’s control. A reasonable cancellation fee will apply where: the User cancels within 3 hours of the scheduled start time; the User is unavailable or not present at the scheduled time (“No-Show”); the User refuses the Service Provider access; or the User materially alters the scope of the Service immediately before commencement. The cancellation fee shall consist of a fixed amount or percentage as determined by RunBeta and shall be allocated between the Service Provider and the Platform in accordance with RunBeta’s policies.
You retain ownership of your User Content but grant RunBeta a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, distribute, display and transmit your User Content as required to operate the Platform. You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring it does not infringe third-party rights or violate law. RunBeta reserves the right to remove any User Content that violates this Agreement. The Platform and all content (excluding User Content) are owned by RunBeta. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or use RunBeta’s intellectual property without authorisation. The Platform may include links or access to third-party services; RunBeta does not endorse or assume responsibility for any Third-Party Service. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and governed by their terms.
Use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk. The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. RunBeta disclaims all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law. RunBeta is a neutral intermediary and does not guarantee the identity, qualifications, conduct, or performance of any Provider or User. You assume full responsibility for risks arising from your interactions with Service Providers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RunBeta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. RunBeta’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount paid by you to RunBeta in the six months preceding the claim, or (b) ₦50,000. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under Nigerian law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RunBeta from all losses arising from your use of the Platform, breach of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights. RunBeta may suspend, restrict, or deactivate your account where it reasonably believes a breach has occurred or where necessary to protect users or the Platform. If your account is suspended or deactivated, you must not create another account. You may terminate your relationship with RunBeta at any time by closing your account or notifying support@runbeta.io. RunBeta may terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent or unlawful activity, or where required by law. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred before termination. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. intellectual property, indemnity, limitation of liability) continue to apply.
RunBeta may revise these Terms from time to time; the updated version will be published on the Platform. Your continued use after the update constitutes acceptance. Nothing in this Agreement creates a partnership, agency, or employment between you and RunBeta. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RunBeta. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder continues in force. No failure or delay by RunBeta in exercising a right shall be deemed a waiver. You may not assign your rights or obligations without RunBeta’s prior written consent. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall first be addressed by contacting support@runbeta.io; if not resolved informally, RunBeta may suggest mediation. If informal resolution and mediation do not result in settlement, disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023, in Lagos, Nigeria. The arbitral award shall be final and binding. Any claim must be commenced within one (1) year from the date the cause of action first arose.

RunBeta Biz Ltd (“RunBeta”) provides the RunBeta platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Service Provider” or “Provider”) and RunBeta governing your access to and use of the Platform for the purpose of offering and performing services for Users. By accessing or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy (together, the “Agreement”). If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.
By registering as a Provider, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to operate an independent business.
RunBeta provides an intermediary Platform connecting Users and independent Service Providers. Service Providers operate as independent business owners. Where you engage staff, assistants or subcontractors, you remain solely responsible for their acts and compliance with these Terms. RunBeta is not a service provider, employment agency, or employer of any User or Service Provider. RunBeta does not provide or perform Services, does not supervise or control Service Providers, and does not guarantee the quality, safety, suitability, or outcome of any Service or the conduct of any Provider or User.
Subject to compliance with this Agreement, RunBeta grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform in Nigeria and use the RunBeta app. You must not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, or use the Platform unlawfully. To access the Platform you must create an Account and provide accurate information including full name, email, contact details, NIN, passport photograph, professional licences and certifications (and for corporate entities: incorporation documents, business address). RunBeta may conduct identity verification and KYC; Providers must undergo KYC/business verification and comply with licensing, regulatory, tax, and insurance obligations. You are solely responsible for your Account credentials and must notify RunBeta immediately of any unauthorised access.
You agree to use the Platform solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must not use the Platform in any manner that violates law or third-party rights, damages the Platform, or negatively affects other users. Prohibited conduct includes: fraudulent or illegal use; false or misleading information; harassment; off-platform payments; bots or automated access; reverse engineering; uploading viruses; interfering with Services; or unauthorised access. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination and referral to law enforcement. Violation of any Platform Policy is a material breach and may result in suspension or permanent deactivation.
The User receives an electronic invoice; payment is collected and held in escrow until the service is fully performed and completion is confirmed. Payment options include debit card and bank transfer. RunBeta receives the User’s payment, deducts its commission, and remits the Provider’s earnings on a T+2 settlement cycle. You acknowledge you will pay applicable statutory charges such as VAT. RunBeta may withhold or delay payout where there is an active dispute, suspected fraud or violation, or where required by law. Cash payments are strictly prohibited. All payments must be made through Platform-approved methods.
Users may cancel in advance; cancellation may attract fees. No cancellation fee where: cancellation within 15 minutes of booking; Provider no-show (30 min scheduled / 1 hr on-demand); Provider cancels; Service cannot proceed due to Provider; or RunBeta determines factors outside User’s control. Cancellation fee applies where: User cancels within 3 hours of start; User no-show; User refuses Provider access; or User materially alters scope before commencement. Cancellation fee is a fixed amount or percentage as determined by RunBeta and allocated between Provider and Platform. Where the Service Provider cancels for reasons attributable to the Provider, the Provider shall pay a cancellation fee to RunBeta.
You retain ownership of your User Content but grant RunBeta a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, distribute, display, adapt and use your User Content and identifiers for Platform operation and marketing. You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring it does not infringe rights or violate law. RunBeta may remove any User Content that violates this Agreement. The Platform and all RunBeta content are owned by RunBeta; you may not copy, reverse engineer, or use RunBeta’s intellectual property without authorisation. Third-Party Services are not endorsed or controlled by RunBeta; your use is at your own risk.
You represent that you operate as an independent business with the required licences, permits, and insurance. You commit to providing Services in a timely, professional manner and to notifying RunBeta of any criminal conviction affecting your ability to provide Services. Use of the Platform is at your own risk; the Platform is provided “as is”. RunBeta disclaims all warranties. You assume full responsibility for risks arising from your interactions with Users. RunBeta’s liability is limited to the greater of (a) amounts paid by you to RunBeta in the six months preceding the claim, or (b) ₦50,000. You agree to indemnify RunBeta from all losses arising from your use of the Platform, breach of Terms, provision of services, or User Content.
RunBeta may suspend or deactivate your account for breach or to protect the Platform; you must not create another account. You may terminate by closing your account or notifying support@runbeta.io. RunBeta may terminate for violation, fraud, or where required by law. Outstanding commissions remain payable after termination. RunBeta may revise these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance. You are an independent contractor, not an employee or agent of RunBeta. These Terms constitute the entire agreement. Governing law: Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes: contact support@runbeta.io first; then mediation if appropriate; then binding arbitration in Lagos under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023. Claims must be commenced within one (1) year.

RunBeta Biz Ltd operates and manages the Company Panel, an administrative portal for companies to create a business account, onboard employees, manage provider profiles, and oversee company-related activity on the Runbeta platform (“Platform”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RunBeta governing your access to and use of the Company Panel. By accessing or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms and any policies incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.
“Company Panel” means the administrative portal for companies to create a business account, onboard employees, manage provider profiles, and oversee company-related activity. “Company Account” means the business profile created through the Company Panel. “Employee Providers” or “Company Providers” mean individuals employed or contracted by the Company who are granted credentials to access the Provider Application on behalf of the Company. “Provider Application” refers to the separate mobile or web application through which service providers manage their offerings, schedule, and service delivery. “Authorized Representative” means the individual registering the Company who has authority to bind the Company to these Terms.
Only a legitimate business entity duly formed under applicable laws can access the Company Panel. You must authorise an Authorised Representative to create the Company Account and bind the Company to these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring Employee Providers meet all legal, licensing, and compliance requirements. RunBeta may conduct identity verification and KYC; we may collect and verify company registration documents. To access the Company Panel you must create a Company Account and provide accurate information including business name, Authorised Representative details, email, telephone, government-issued ID numbers, corporate documents. You may create profiles for Employee Providers; each will be issued unique login credentials for the Provider Application. Credentials are for individual use only and must not be shared. You must notify us of any unauthorised use or security breach. You and your Employee Providers are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for all activities conducted through your accounts.
You are solely and fully responsible for your Employee Providers, including their acts, omissions, conduct, performance, and compliance with these Terms and applicable laws. You are solely responsible for employment or contractual relationships with Employee Providers; nothing in these Terms creates any employment or agency relationship between RunBeta and your Employee Providers. RunBeta has no responsibility for any employment or contractual relationship between you and your Employee Providers. Employee Providers shall access the Provider Application strictly as your representatives. Through the Company Panel you can create, administer, and control profiles, availability, schedules, job assignments, service categories, and pricing for your Employee Providers; you are solely responsible for all configurations and consequences. The Platform is a technology solution enabling Service Providers to manage business accounts and offer services; RunBeta does not itself provide services to customers and does not supervise Companies or Employee Providers. Each Company is solely responsible for the services it offers and for all acts and omissions of its Employee Providers.

You must not use the Platform in any manner that violates law, damages the Platform, or negatively affects other users. Prohibited conduct includes: fraud; false information; harassment; off-platform payments; bots; circumventing fees or security; uploading viruses; or unauthorised access. Any misuse may result in immediate suspension or termination and referral to law enforcement. Your use is governed by these Terms, our Privacy Policy and all Platform Policies. Violation of any Platform Policy is a material breach and may result in suspension or permanent deactivation.
RunBeta may charge service fees, processing fees, subscription fees, commissions or other charges as prescribed or notified. Payments in respect of services may be routed to you or directly to your Employee Providers depending on your configuration; you remain solely responsible for payment flows and consequences. You are solely responsible for determining, declaring, withholding (where applicable), and remitting all taxes and statutory charges arising from your use of the Platform and services performed by your Employee Providers. RunBeta has no responsibility for your tax obligations or those of your Employee Providers.
You retain ownership of your User Content but grant the Platform operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, display and transmit your Content as necessary for the operation and support of the Platform. You are solely responsible for your Content and for ensuring it is accurate, lawful and does not infringe third-party rights. RunBeta does not review or endorse Company Content. You represent that your Content will not infringe IP rights, violate Nigerian law, be false or misleading, defamatory, harmful, or create liability for RunBeta. RunBeta may remove any Content that violates this Agreement. The Platform, Provider Application and all RunBeta content are owned by RunBeta; you may not copy, reverse engineer, or use RunBeta’s intellectual property or marks without authorisation. Third-Party Services (e.g. payment processors, identity verification) are not controlled by RunBeta; your use is at your own risk.
You represent that you are a duly constituted independent business and not an employee or agent of RunBeta. You represent that you hold and maintain all required licences, permits, insurance and authorisations. You undertake to conduct business professionally and to notify RunBeta of any criminal conviction or investigation affecting your ability to provide services. Use of the Platform is at your own risk; the Platform is provided “as is”. RunBeta disclaims all warranties. RunBeta does not employ or control Employee Providers and shall not be liable for any act, omission or harm by any Employee Provider or for the outcome, quality or safety of any services. RunBeta’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts paid by you to RunBeta in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) ₦50,000. You agree to indemnify RunBeta from all losses arising from your use of the Platform, breach of Terms, your Content, or acts of your Employee Providers. RunBeta may suspend, restrict or deactivate your account for breach or to protect the Platform; you must not create another account.
